Portfolio Collages


I've constantly been thinking of how to put my photos together to make a portfolio. I finally decided that I would make collages, print them 12x12 and slip them into one of my lovely Creative Memories albums. This way, I can always add more by just creating another collage. Vwala!

Seriously??

I started to feel a scratch in my throat yesterday, so I took some vitamins. I rested and drank water all day today, and even had some garlic to help fight getting sick. But it's only gotten worse! Seriously?? My throat feels like it's been scraped on the inside, my head hurts, my voice sounds nasty, my nose is running and I keep sneezing. This is not good.
Vince got me Michael Buble tickets in December for my Christmas present; the concert is tomorrow night! We thought maybe he wouldn't be able to go because of his surgery, but we never thought that I wouldn't be able to go. Please, God!!
I plan to rest all day tomorrow, drink even more water, down the vitamin C, and hope to be better by the evening. Fingers crossed and prayers said.

Please, oh please, oh please....

Posting to Post

I haven't posted anything in a while because I couldn't really think of anything to post. I guess I will just post about what has been going on in my life lately.

Pretty much same old, same old:
*Babysitting two days a week (which is awesome)
*Subbing when I get calls (which has not been very often)
*Going to physical therapy with Vince (he's doing a great job)
*Taking Koda to the park (always pretty relaxing)

Other than that, I recently paid off my student loans!!!!!!! Feels AMAZING!!!! I also bought some more study materials for the CSET. Hopefully I will pass that 2nd test in May (prayers and good thoughts are greatly appreciated).

I've been making myself get up at 7:00 each morning, whether I need to or not. Here's my morning routine now:
*Get my butt out of bed when the alarm goes off at 7:00.
*Heat up a pot of water for some of my favorite lavender tea
*Make breakfast
*Check my email
*Make a lunch
*Shower and get ready for the day
*Read a book until I need to leave for wherever I need to go.

I plan to get up earlier each week by 15 minutes. My goal is to wake up at 5:00am so I can go to the gym or do Crossfit, and be done by 7:00 to continue the routine I posted above.
This morning I got Lauren up early, hope she didn't mind too much. We went to the gym and we worked our little butts off. It was awesome.

That is my life at the moment. May not be exciting in some peoples' eyes, but I'm happy and enjoying it.
